Avert Wesley Isham

Avert Wesley Isham, 74, of Benton went to be with the Lord Feb. 2. He was born September 13, 1937 in Greenbrier to Armour and Arzilla Isham. 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Aaron Isham and two grandsons, Gary Isham, Jr. and Wyatt Isham.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Sue Totten Isham; sons, Gary Isham of Little Rock, Terry Isham of Sherwood, Wesley Isham and wife, Laken, and JC Cloud; daughters, Brandy Sutton and husband, Eugene and Sherry Rodgers and husband Jake, all of Benton; thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 6, at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047) with Pastor Ronnie Vanderslice officiating. A graveside service will be held later in the day at 2 p.m. at Harmony Cemetery in Mayflower. Serving as pallbearers will be Joseph Isham, Robert Isham, Bryan Allen, Keith Spurlock, Jake Rodgers and David Clark. Honorary pallbearer, Eugene Sutton
The family will receive friends from 4 - 6 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 4, at the funeral home.
The family will be at Brandy Sutton’s residence in Benton for those who would like to stop by and share memories or express sympathy.
