Barbara B. Galbraith

Barbara B. Galbraith, 68, of Bryant died Monday Feb. 13. She was born Dec. 4, 1943 in Arkadelphia. She was a retired teacher/librarian for the Bryant Schools, a graduate of Arkansas College (Lyon College) in Batesville, member of the Arkansas Education Association and the National Education Association. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Benton where she served as an elder and a deacon.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Galbraith of Bryant; a son and daughter-in-law, Russ Galbraith and wife Aimee of Maumelle; a daughter, Lisa Galbraith Mundy of Bryant; a sister, Judy Jennings of Denton, Texas; four grandchildren, Allison Mundy, Katie Mundy, Alex Galbraith and Carter Galbraith.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m Saturday, Feb. 18, at First Presbyterian Church in Benton.
Arrangements are by Ashby Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Benton or to the First Presbyterian Church in Arkadelphia.
