A Bauxite man who died Monday in Russellville has been identified as Zachary Turner, 21, according to the Russellville Police Department.

Officers responded to the 500 block of Industrial Boulevard around 12:42 a.m. Monday in reference to a rollover vehicle accident that occurred in a field.

Turner and three other passengers were in the car at the time of the accident, according to a report. The other passengers were treated for minor injuries, police said.

At the time of the accident, the driver, Alex Harper, of Mabelvale, was arrested for suspicion of underage DUI, police said. He was transported to St. Mary's Regional Hospital for treatment due to injuries he sustained during the accident.

At around 5:10 a.m., Russellville police received notification from the Pulaski County Coroner's Office that Turner had died due to injuries sustained in the accident.

Initially, Turner was also transported to St. Mary's Regional Hospital before being taken to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation is still on-going. Once the investigation is completed, a report will be given to the Pope County Prosecutor's Office for review and consideration of additional criminal charges.
