Ben F. Palmer, 71, of Benton, who was born March 23, 1942, passed away Sept. 16, 2013. He was the pastor of Mt. Harmony Missionary Baptist Church for 26 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Floy Palmer.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lynda Palmer; children, Nancy Palmer and Ben Palmer; grandchildren, Kelly (Larry) Chase and Samuel Palmer; great-grandchildren, Madeline Palmer and Kylee Chase; and members of his church family.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Mt. Harmony Missionary Baptist Church in Haskell
Visitation will take place at the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday, preceding the service. Arrangements are by Arkansas Funeral Care.
