Benton girl wins titles at national pageant
Team Arkansas competed at International Girl Nationals in Branson, Mo. July 31-Aug. 4, and a little girl from Benton won six awards.
Madison Cunningham, 4, daughter of Becky Cunningham of Benton and granddaughter of Liz Cunningham of Bryant, competed against other girls, ages 0 to 6, from around the country.
She won the following titles: 2012 International Girl Petite Miss International Doll, 2012 International Girl Petite Miss Official Princess, 2012 International Girl Petite Miss Beauty 3rd Runner-Up, Gold Award in Party Dress, High Gold Award in Sports Wear and 2012 International Girl Petite Miss Prettiest Hair
"All she has talked about since we got home has been her best friends from the big pageant," Becky Cunningham commented on Facebook. "She really has no clue how good she did, but she made some memories with some of the best people!" The International Girl pageant takes place annually. Preliminary competitions begin in September.
