Bettye Lou Wade

Bettye Lou Wade, 68 of Mabelvale, passed away Monday, Sept. 24, in Little Rock.
She was born July 25, 1944, in Morton to the late John and Mary (Cain) Smith. Bettye was a generous, loving woman who lived a full life. She got no greater joy than spending time with her grandchildren. She was at every ball game and event they were involved in. Her passion was taking care of her family and she will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Audie Eugene Wade; her parents; three brothers, Hershel, Thomas and James Smith; two sisters, Fannie Mae Hilliard and Mary Jane Smith.
Bettye is survived by her two daughters, Audra LaRue and husband John of Mabelvale and Crystal King and husband Lane of Mabelvale; four grandchildren, Jonathan Wade and Elijah, Gabe, and Zayley King; a step-granddaughter, Danielle King; a sister, Annie Sue Melvin of McCrory; and many extended family members and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, September 28 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home in Little Rock, with Brother David Robinson officiating. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Wade, Jimmy Sorvillo, Allen Wilder, Michael Wade, Matt Pinkerton, and David Cox. Honorary pallbearer will be Hayley Henjum.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept., 27, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home.
