Billy Dee Nabors, 77, of Paron passed away April 3, 2011.
He was born April 22, 1933, in Greenbrier to the late Harold Clarence and Loy Lou (Breeding) Nabors.
Mr. Nabors was a retired carpenter, a member of North Fork Missionary Baptist Church of Paron, a member of Carpenter’s Local Union 690 of Little Rock, Boy Scouts of America Ouachita Area Council, Paron Masonic Lodge 309, and Congo Masonic Lodge 743.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Ann (Sowrheaver) Nabors; two children, Patricia A. Chaloner and husband Roy of Murfreesboro and J. Harold Nabors and wife Teri of Leavenworth, Kan.; sister, Sue Eddy of Greenbrier; brother, Harold Lendon Nabors of Grand Rapids, Mich.; five grandchildren, Kevin of Little Rock, Kim and John, both of Albany, Ga., and Danielle and Courtney, both of Leavenworth, Kan.; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton with the Revs. Don McCutcheon and Cecil Hyde officiating. Interment will follow at Fowler Cemetery in Paron.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
