Billy Ervin Kee, 77, of Haskell passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2011, at the Conway Regional Medical Center.
Billy was a veteran of the Army having served in the Korean War, was of the Assembly of God Faith and was an avid outdoors man.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Jimmie Sue Kee; his parents, Freeman Kee and Mabel Gross Kee; and his sister, Geneva Mathews-McClure.
Survivors include his two children, Karren Sue Abshier and husband Larry of Glenwood and Michael Kee of Haskell; a very special niece, Sharron Wallis; best buddy, Gaylon Wallis; three grandchildren, Billy Abshier and wife Cathie, Kayla Abshier and Tyler Kee; one great-grandchild, Eliana Abshier; and a special friend, Roberta Perkins.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, call 455-1067 with the Rev. Larry Hightower officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
