Billy J. Krticka, 72, of Benton passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant.
He was born July 24, 1940, to the late Joseph A. and Jetta (Ledbetter) Krticka in Benton.
He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and had retired after 32 years as a dragline operator for Alcoa.
Mr. Krticka loved hunting and fishing, but most of all, cherished his grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Krticka; and one sister, Catherine Cook.
Survivors include his three sons, Greg Krticka (Jen), Rick Krticka (Jamie), and Mike Krticka (Jessie), all of Benton; six grandchildren, Zack, Gabrielle, Bailey, Carlie, Neely, and Jessi; and many friends and relatives.
Visitation is set from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 14, at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047).
Graveside service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, July 15, at New Friendship Cemetery in Tull with the Rev. Kim Hammer officiating   
Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Cook, Jimmy Cook, Raymond Hobbs, Thomas Babbitt, Mark Babbitt, Chuck Coppock, David Burson, Dale Bridges and Jamie Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may made to Saline Memorial Hospice House, 23157 I-30, Bryant, AR 72022.
