Bobby Glenn Hathcote

Bobby Glenn Hathcote, 80, of Benton passed away March 19, 2013.  He was born July 12, 1932, in Benton to the late Joseph William and Wilma Caldwell Hathcote.  Bobby was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Benton. 
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Martha Jean Hockersmith Kincaid.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Daugherty Hathcote; two daughters, Lori Hathcote Simmons and Karen Hathcote Johnson and husband Keith; grandchildren, Lindsey Rae Simmons, Holly Grace Johnson Sutton and husband Brandon, Karie Ann Johnson and fiance Josh Shepard, and Matthew Glenn Simmons; a great-granddaughter, Molly Kate Sutton; and a brother, Joe Lee Hathcote and wife Clara.
Graveside service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, March 22, at Pinecrest Memorial Park with Dr. George McCoy officiating. Pallbearers are Murry Johnson, Grady Rollon, Kenneth Steele, Danny McDonald and Ronnie Everett.
Ashby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital, 1 Children's Way, Slot 661, Little Rock, AR 72202 or Christian Community Care Clinic,  220 W. South St., Benton, AR 72015.
