Bonnie Juanita Ballard Gentry, age 88, of Benton passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013.
She was born Feb. 22, 1925, in Little Rock to the late Bill and Mattie Ballard.Â She was a homemaker and a member of New Life Missionary Baptist Church in Benton.Â
She adored her family and friends.Â She will be smiling in Heaven as she is reunited with her son, Bill Everett; an infant son, Allen Everett Jr.; a brother, Morris Ballard; and two sisters, Doris Jones and Willie Mae Cox.Â
She is survived by her son, Dwight T. Everett and wife Susie of Benton; a brother, Dewell Ballard of Benton; four grandchildren, Renee Steed and husband Kevin, Dwight A. Everett, Christa Hudspeth and husband Brandan, and Anna Hendrix and husband Chad; a daughter-in-law, Linda Everett; eight great-grandchildren, Grant Steed, Haley, Taylor, and Kacey Everett, Drew and Bennett Hudspeth, and Evie and Michael Hendrix; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m.Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at McPherson Cemetery in Benton on Salt Creek Road with the Rev. Scotty Nalley officiating.Â Serving as honorary pallbearers are Dwight A. Everett, Kevin Steed, Brandan Hudspeth and Chad Hendrix.
Visitation is set from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 11, at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047).
