Bonnie Lee Landers, 79, of Benton passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011. 
She was born Jan. 20, 1932, in Salem to the late Samuel L. Shepherd and Floyce Thomas Shepherd. 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob J. Landers.
She was a homemaker whose life revolved totally around her family. Mrs. Landers was a devoted wife, and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Benton. 
She is survived by her sons, Nick Landers (Mary Jack) of Bryant, Steve Landers (Sandy) of Little Rock and Lance Landers, (Darla) of Batesville; brothers, Dennis Shepherd (Kay) and Johnny Shepherd; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces, family and friends who will miss her deeply.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Ashby Funeral Home with the Rev. Clay Cunningham and Frances Raley officiating. Burial will follow in Old Rosemont Cemetery in Benton.
Pallbearers are her grandsons, Steve Landers Jr., Josh Landers, Jared Landers, Scott Landers, Kyle Landers, Colby Landers, Blake Landers and Gavin Landers serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
