Bryant PD arrests Kum & Go robbery suspects

June 7, 2013

Keifer Collins

Bryant police on Thursday night arrested two suspects in connection with an armed robbery that took place at the Kum & Go on Reynolds Road last week.
Keifer Collins, 18, of Little Rock is charged with felony aggravated robbery, felony theft of property, and misdemeanor tampering with physical evidence.
The second suspect’s identity cannot be released at this time because he is a minor, said Sgt. Todd Crowson.
However, due to the seriousness of the crime, he has been certified as an adult for the same charges as Collins.
The Saline County Prosecuting Attorney's Office will determine whether he will be tried as an adult.
The Kum & Go cashier working during the robbery told police the two entered the store about 4:30 a.m. One of the suspects pointed a gun at her, and the two demanded all the money from the cash register drawer, she said.
According to police, after the clerk complied, the two suspects fled the scened with an undisclosed amount of money.
Bryant police released on Wednesday video surveillance of the robbery to the public.
"The Bryant Police Department would like to thank the local media and citizens. With their help we were able to follow up on valuable leads in our investigation," Crowson said.
