Police say a former Maumelle coach put two children in danger when she brought them along with her for an alleged meth deal last Thursday.
Bryant police reportedly were given a tip that a drug deal was to take place on that day in the Lowe's parking lot.
Members of the Narcotics Unit and Criminal Investigation Division monitored the parking lot and were able to arrest Brittany Burns, 36, of North Little Rock after reportedly observing a drug deal.
During the arrest, officers found a 9-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl in the vehicle with Burns.
According to police, the kids were taken off the scene immediately and transported to the police department, where their mother picked them up.
Burns was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, three counts of theft by receiving and possession of meth with the intent to deliver.
She is still in custody at the Saline County Detention Center under a $5,000 bond.
