Buel Dean Lovell Barlow

Buel Dean Lovell Barlow, 83, of Benton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 14, 2014. She was born in Paris, AR to the late Ruth and Buel Lovell.
She was raised in Paris, AR. After marriage to the love of her life, Bill and Buel Dean moved to Little Rock, where they both were employed by Kraftco Building Supply and Hardware. Upon their retirement, they moved to Mayflower to a lakeside home to enjoy fishing. Motorcycling was a favorite hobby, seeing most of the United States on the back of a motorcycle. She was a founding member of the Christian Motorcycle Association in Arkansas. Buel Dean was a member of the Forest Park Eastern Star, holding many offices in the organization. She enjoyed spending the winter months camping in South Texas. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Benton. Everyone knew Buel Dean loved to sing.
She is predeceased by her parents; Bill Barlow, her husband of 64 years; Jesse Barlow,grandson; Ruth Ellen Davis, sister; Joe Lovell, brother and niece, Terry Davis Hyatt.
She is survived by son, Bill Barlow and wife, Carol, grandson, Shawn Barlow, great-granddaughter, Abby Barlow and step-great-grandchildren, Nicki Morehead and Rodney Morehead. Other cherished family members include sister-in-law, Karin Lovell; nieces, Sharon Glenn and husband Jeff, Kelly Long and husband, Kevin, Alisha Maddalina and husband John, nephews, Keith Lovell, Quin Barlow and wife, Donna and their families.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 20 at Pine Crest Memorial Park with Rev. Frank Thurman officiating.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 19 at Ashby Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saline Memorial Hospice, 23157 Hwy I-30, Bryant, AR 72022.
