Carl James Hardwick

Carl James Hardwick, 87, of Little Rock passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013. He worked for Bean Music Co. for 32 years and started Hardwick Band Instruments in 1970. He was a World War II Marine Corps veteran and a member of Parkway Place Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ruby (Adams) Hardwick of Little Rock; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Arlene Hardwick of Little Rock and Steve and Carla Hardwick of Haskell; a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Harry Allen of Benton; eight grandchildren, Carl and Penny Hardwick, Harry Allen IV, Michael and David Allen, Noah, Caleb and Seth Hardwick; and two great-grandchildren, Davis and Haley Allen.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 27, at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, a Smith Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
