Carra Jo Toler

Carra Jo Toler, 85, of Bryant passed away July 31. She was born Dec. 5, 1927, in Marianna, to the late Horace Bonner and Vivian Wild.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Bryant. Carra Jo retired from the Internal Revenue Service, after serving as a homemaker for a number of years. She enjoyed spending time with her family on Lake Ouachita and rocking babies in the church nursery.
She delighted in all activities which involved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and their friends. In fact, she affectionately became known to all who knew her as GG, for Great-Grandma.
Carra Jo was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William H. Toler Sr.; a son, John Toler; a granddaughter, Jamie Toler Looney; a brother,  Edward  Bonner; a son-in-law, Wayne Felton; and two sisters, Frances Bundy and Vivian Daggett.
She is survived by a daughter, Debby Felton of Bryant; a son, Bill Toler, Jr. of Little Rock; a sister, Edith Barrows of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; a granddaughter, Tammy Shaw of Benton; grandsons, Nathan Felton and wife Andra of Bryant and Chris Shaw of Benton; a granddaughter, Hollie Moore and husband Chris of Benton; great-grandchildren, Jana Shaw Standfill, Clint Standfill, Chase and Christen Shaw, Aidan Shaw, Kelsey and Alex Coning, Mika Felton, Will Felton, Ford Felton, Blake Looney and Oakley Moore; great-great-grandchildren, Layla Standfill and Mikayla Coning; and many special nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5, at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton with the Rev. Hammett Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Arkansas Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
Active pallbearers are Nathan Felton, Brad Davenport, Chris Moore, Chris Shaw, Chase Shaw and Clint Standfill.
Honorary pallbearers are Aidan Shaw, Will Felton, Blake Looney, Ford Felton and Oakley Moore.
Visitation is scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, at the funeral home.
