Charlotte Jan Treat

Charlotte Jan Treat, 56, of Benton, passed from this life on Saturday, July 23, in Searcy County. She was born in Amarillo, Texas on January 14, 1955, to Willie Amel Smithee and Mary Charlotte (Tunnell) Smithee.
Jan worked as a blood bank supervisor at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock and Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. She had also worked as a medical technician at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton for over 10 years. Jan was a loving mother, wife and sister and will be greatly missed.
Her parents and one brother, Bill Smithee, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Rodney Dewan Treat of the home; one son, Zachary Treat and wife, Nicole of Alexandria; one daughter, Charlotte Beth Treat of the home; two sisters, Suzette Miller and husband, Steve of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Shelly Hargrove and husband David of Plano, Texas; and several nieces and nephews who will also mourn her passing.
Pallbearers are David Hargrove, Steve Miller, Harley Russell Treat Jr., Tim Drewry, Zachary Treat and David Ragland.
Services for Charlotte Jan Treat will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Nubbin Hill Community Church in Leslie. Family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service at 1 p.m..
Burial will be at Nubbin Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall.
