Christine Scott Bailey

Christine Scott Bailey, 78, of Hot Springs, died Thursday, Jan. 19. She was born on May 6, 1933, in Mt. Ida, the daughter of Jewell Jefferson Scott and Cora Margaret Warren Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William E. Bailey; her sister, Patsy Jo Scott Graves; and her brother-in-law, Raymond Myers.
Christine was Assembly of God in her faith and a beloved mother, grandmother and sister who will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Jill Bailey of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two grandchildren, Scott Bailey and Karen Bailey, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; her brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Joan Scott of DeQueen; her sister, Marcia Myers of Benton; her brother-in-law, Howard Graves of Mt. Ida; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, at Davis-Smith Funeral Home in Hot Springs will the Rev. Wes Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Gaston Cemetery in Mt. Ida. Visitation will be held from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. Sunday prior to the service.
Pallbearers are Gail Walker, Howard Graves, Ralph Graves, Andy Shilling, Dan Cooper and John Diggs. Honorary pallbearers are Arkansas Hospice 5 West Staff, Dr. P. K. Reddy and Dr. Manjusha Kota.
