City offices resume business today

Benton and Bryant city offices will resume business today, although they opened late because of possible issues having to do with the winter storm that hit the county Tuesday.
The Bryant Development Review Committee meeting originally set for today has been rescheduled for next week.
The Bryant City Council has scheduled a special meeting for next week.
There is a community services meeting in Benton scheduled for Jan. 1 at 6 p.m. A civil service commission meeting is scheduled for Jan. 2 at 6:30 p.m.
The city offices at Bauxite and Alexander were not answering phone calls before 10 a.m. this morning.
Many local businesses are reopening around Saline County today as road conditions approve, but authorities say it still may not be safe to travel on the interstate.
The Arkansas Highway Department reported ice patches on U.S. 30 between Benton and Little Rock, today at 9:57 a.m.
