Clayton Chase Magby

Clayton Chase Magby, 82, of Benton passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013.  He was born March 22, 1931, in Hot Springs.
Mr. Magby was a U.S. Army veteran, retired from Alcoa and a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Buell Magby; a brother, Donald Magby; and two sisters, Geneva Miller and Ellavonne Burks.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Pauline Magby; two sons, Tony Magby and wife Felton and Terry Magby and wife Tammy, all of Benton; three sisters, Lex Spickard of Sardis and Jean Fulcher and Millie Nalley of Benton; two grandchildren, Jennifer Magby Scroggins and husband Chris and Cameron Magby and wife Jenn; and two great-grandchildren, Jenna Scroggins and Cason Chase Scroggins.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, at Ashby Funeral Home with Brother Bob Stuckey and Brother Doug Hammonds officiating. Burial will follow at New Rosemont Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Jeff Nalley, Lee Weaver, Mike Stuckey, Travis George, Richard Spickard and Steven Spickard.
Visitation is set from 6 to 8 p.m. today, June 3, at the funeral home.
