Col. Theodore R. “Ted” Dale

Col. Theodore R. “Ted” Dale, Ret. USAF, made his last earthly flight on 9-Sep-11 at 15:12 hours.
During his 30 year military career Col. Dale logged over 4,500 hours in 33 unique aircraft including the Boeing B47 Stratojet Bomber and the B17 Flying Fortress. Ted was a US Army and US Air Force Veteran of WWII, and a US Air Force Veteran of Korea and the war in Vietnam. Col. Dale was Commanding Officer of the Little Rock Air Force Base at Jacksonville in 1970 and was instrumental in bringing the C-130 Aircraft to LRAFB. He was an officer and a gentleman in every way and was loved and cherished by his beloved wife, Dee Brazil Dale, his daughters Cherry Dougherty and Terry Lutes, as well as family, friends, and fellow airmen.
Funeral service will be held at North Little Rock Funeral Home on Thursday, 15-Sep-2011 at 10:00 hours (Sept. 15 at 10 a.m.). Burial with full military honors will be at New Prospect Cemetery at Peeler Bend near Benton.
The family will receive friends from 18:00 to 20:00 hours (6:00 to 8:00 p.m.) on Wednesday at the funeral home.
