CP Jackson

CP Jackson, age 72, of Benton, passed away June 30. He was born June 7, 1939, in West Helena to the late Curdy P. and Esther (Holland) Jackson.
He was retired from Alcoa as a pipe fitter and a member of Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, music, and woodworking. He loved a good argument and to tell jokes.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Ledderman.
Survivors include his wife, Gail Jackson; one son, Alan “Bo” Jackson and wife, Karen; three daughters, Daphne Shoppach and husband, Mike, Annette Richards and Amanda Harkness and husband, Mike, all of Benton; grandchildren, Jonathan Shoppach and wife Andrea, Todd Shoppach, Mitchell Chandler, Nick Harkness, Rex Jackson, Hannah Jo Harkness, Evan Jackson, Jack Richards, Sam Richards, Cortney Cash and Andrea Shoppach; two great-grandchildren, Malea Shoppach and Zachary Shoppach; two sisters, Betty L. Cullum of Conway and Juanita Oxner of Cabot; and other nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton, 501-315-4047, with Bob Wiegel officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
