Curtis G. “Shag” Rasburry, age 85, of Benton passed away May 19, 2014. He was born November 9, 1928 in Benton. Curtis was a retired School Teacher, Coach and Principal, a US Army Veteran serving in the Korean War and a member of First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James G. Rasburry and Mary Steele Rasburry, two brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Dawn Rasburry, Benton; sons and daughter-in-law, Steve and Elaine Rasburry, Benton; Stan Rasburry, Benton; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, May 22 at Old Rosemont Cemetery in Benton. Minister will be Dr. Rick Grant.
Visitation will be 9:30 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the Cemetery.
