Daisy Esta Mae Spears Smith, born June, 1953, died July 26, 2013. She was 60.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie O. Spears and Daisy Mae Graves Spears; her sisters, Louise Golden, Texanna Herron and Billy Ruth Dodd; and a brother, Tillman Spears.
She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Jimmy Smith; her mother-in-law, Bonnie Smith; her sons, Tony Spears of Cabot, Eddie Steadman and wife Valarie of Hot Springs, Greg Steadman of Hot Springs, Rodney Love and Dan Huffman of Lonsdale; her grandchildren, Aaron Hawthorne of Malvern, Nathan Steadman of Hot Springs, Sophia and Zachary Spears of Cabot, Kallie and Hailey Love of Hot Springs; her sisters, Mildred Sigler of Lonsdale, Violet Ross and husband Gene of Austin, Texas, Karen Williams of Hot Springs, Rita Merryman and husband Rick of Lonsdale; a brother, Larry Graves of Pearcy; her brother-in-law, Charles Golden of Malvern; and numerous relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at House of Restoration with Pastor Willard Speers officiating. Burial will be at Graves/ Speers Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Mark Miles, Troy Ellis Jr., Mike Hamilton, Jacob Smith, Robbie Smith and Ryan Marshall. Arrangements are by Hot Springs Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, at Hot Springs Funeral Home.
