David Lee Patterson

David Lee Patterson, 55, of Traskwood finished his life's work on earth and went on to be with our Heavenly Father to start his next life's adventure on Sept. 28. He was born April 15, 1957, to Robert Curtis and Francis Elaine Patterson.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents and grandparents; a brother, Michael Patterson; and nephew, Christopher Patterson.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Patterson of Traskwood, and by his children, Crystal Patterson of Traskwood, James Robert "J.R." Patterson of Malvern, Angel Patterson of Arkadelphia, Michael Wedstead of Arizona, Joseph Wedstead of Texas, Brandy Wedstead of Little Rock and Daniel Wedstead of Malvern. He is also survived by sisters Karen McPherson of Crestview, Fla.; Maureen Childress and husband, Paul, of Haskell; Marsha Davis of Traskwood; Pamela Plyler and husband, Ron, of Haskell; and Deborah Burnett of Haskell; brother Emmett Haislip of Pensacola, Fla., and special friends Sammy Jo and all the gang.
Service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 4, at the United Methodist Church of Traskwood. Rev. Brent Thompson, pastor of Dixenville Baptist Church, will be officiating.
