Authorities are currently investigating the death of a man at the Saline County jail.
According to a Saline County Sheriff's Office call report, Donavan Arras, 30, of Bauxite died at the Saline County jail Sunday.
Sunday afternoon staff at the Saline County Detention Center contacted medical personnel because an inmate was unresponsive. Arras was later pronounced deceased by Kevin Cleghorn, the Saline County coroner, said Lt. Jeff Silk, spokesperson for the Saline County Sheriff's Office.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division immediately responded and are currently investigating the death.
Arras's body has been taken to the Arkansas Crime Lab to be analyzed by a medical examiner.
"The results of the medical examiner's investigation will be released at a later time," Silk said.
Arras was being detained at the Saline County jail for an absconding warrant. He was booked into the jail on Nov. 7 at 1:47 p.m., according to the inmate roster.
