Debra Denise Hoover Bartley

Debra Denise Hoover Bartley, 59, of Hazen was called to her heavenly home on Jan. 15, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
She was born May 1, 1952, in Chicago to Derald Flint and Marjorie Ann Bendig Hoover. “Debi” liked to crochet, enjoyed going to the casino and cherished her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a younger brother, Michael Hoover.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Freddie Lee Bartley; a son, Christopher Bartley and wife Wendy; a daughter, Jennette Bray and husband Josh; five grandchildren, Megan McElyea, Connor Bray, Emma Bartley, Kayla Bartley, Rehannah Bartley and Austin Scott; three brothers, David Hoover and wife Brenda, Edward Hoover and John Hoover; her stepfather, Glenn Hannah and wife Becky; 22 nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 18, at First United Methodist Church in Hazen. Burial will be in Hazen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan.17, at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen.
Serving as pallbearers are Josh Bray, Jason Hoover, Kasey Robnett, Kevin Swaim, Matt Haase and Larry Joe Strickland.
