Don Allen Sadler

Don Allen Sadler, 70, of Bauxite died March 31, 2011 at Saline Memorial Hospital.
He was born August 15, 1940 to the late Huey Kagler and Velma Pauline “Bette” Sadler.
He graduated from Bauxite High School and married his high school sweetheart, Glenda Magby. Together they raised four children and in January 2010 celebrated fifty years of marriage. He spent his working career in the Face Veneer Industry where he learned the business from the ground up and later retired from Woodlast.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Dewey Logan, Huey Sadler, N.E “Gene” Sadler and a sister Helen Dabbs.
He leaves behind his wife Glenda Sadler of Bauxite; two sisters, Louise Sadler Drye of Mena, and Shirley Sadler Whatley of Benton; his children Greg Sadler of Fort Smith, Robert and Amy Sadler Green of Bauxite, Marty and Shannon Sadler of Benton, and Brian and Carol Sadler Baker of Benton; and fourteen grandchildren, Sarabeth, Katie, Lauren, Emily, and Henry Sadler, Preston and Nathan Green, Blaine, Jon, and Kane Sadler, and Paige Eubanks, Zack, Jeremy and Brianna Baker.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 3 at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton.
Funeral services will be at West Bauxite Missionary Baptist Church at 2 p.m. where he was a member. Rev. Melvin Burris will officiate.
