Don Harold Richey

Don Harold Richey, 89, of Benton passed away March 27, 2013.  He was born May 30, 1923, in Benton to the late Charlie and Nettie Richey.
Don worked for Reynolds Metal Corp. and was an avid fox hunter.
Don was past president of the South Arkansas Fox Hunters Association. He owned and bred a dog that has won every major championship in the United States. His dogs have won the International Championship, the All-American Open and the Texas Open.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Wilma Richey.
He is survived by his daughters, Janis Boersma and Donna Corballis and husband Tim.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 29, at Four Seasons Assisted Living in Benton with visitation set for 9 a.m. before the service. Honorary pallbearers are Terry Stone, Mike Funderburk, Dickie Tucker, Richie Tucker, Brian Heffner, David Maust, Wesley Cady and Misty Wright.
Cremation was through Ashby Funeral Home.
