Donald Wesley Jordan Sr.

Donald Wesley Jordan Sr., 72, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, at his home. He was born Aug. 4, 1940, in St. Louis, Mo.
Donald served his country in the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam. He was a certified locksmith, a 32nd-degree Mason, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a Shriner. He was a member of Grape Chapel Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Pearl Adams Jordan; a son, Mark Jordan; and a grandson, Matthew.
He is survived by his wife, Serenda Jordan of Benton; three sons, Donald W. Jordan II, Terry Jordan, and Alan Ott; a daughter, Sherry Brown; two brothers, Cecil Jordan of St. Louis, Mo., and Randy Jordan; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral service is scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Ashby Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Planck officiating. Burial will follow at Arkansas Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
Serving as pallbearers are Paul Peavey, Zach McAnally, Mark Brown, T. J. Jordan, Derrick Montgomery, Ronald Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are Christopher Jordan, Donald Jordan, Mark Jordan, Luke Jordan and Terry Jordan
Visitation is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation in the name of Donald Jordan Sr.
