Doris Elaine Irwin

Doris Elaine Irwin, 68, of Benton, passed from this life on Aug 27. She was born in Cherokee, Oklahoma on October 25, 1942 to her parents Howard and Irene Main.
 
Doris loved music and teaching piano and truly enjoyed having people in her home. She also counseled young couples as part of her church ministry.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert Irwin.
 
Ms. Irwin is survived by a son, Kevin B. Irwin and his wife, Beth of Benton, a daughter, Kristen E. Poteet and her husband, Patrick of McKinney, Tx. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; Blake Grappe, Olivia, Micaiah, Iain, Mia, Silas and Alitah Poteet, along with a host of friends and family that will miss her dearly.
  
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 3, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Dial & Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant, with interment to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
 
Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 2, 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
