Doris W. 'Bud' Adams

Doris W. “Bud” Adams, age 90, of Benton passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014. 
He was born May 22, 1923, in Bauxite.
Mr. Adams retired from the Army, having served in World War II, Vietnam War and the Korean Conflict. 
He was a welder and a member of Benton Foursquare Church. 
Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his parents, William and Viola Adams; his wife, Sadie Pauline Adams; and a brother, Billie Adams.
He is survived by his daughter, Emma Allard of Taylor, Texas; a sister, Mary Sue Bowie; five grandchildren, Tammy Jo Allard Sandifer, Pamela Marie Allard Weaver, Cynthia Lynn Allard Lucland, John Francis Allard Jr. and James Donald Allard; 11 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, at Ashby Funeral Home.
Funeral service is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, at the funeral home with Dr. David Brewer officiating. Burial will be in New Rosemont Cemetery.
