Dorothy Irene Launius Bermingham

Dorothy Irene Launius Bermingham of Bauxite went home to our heavenly father on June 25, at the age of 91.  She was born to the late J.R. and Ora Launius on April 14, 1921.
Dorothy was married to James R. Bermingham, who preceded her in death. Dorothy was a 50-year member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Odd Fellows and Faith Rebekah Lodge No. 59 for 57 years. 
She is survived by her sister, Elinor Cheatham; and her three brothers, Roland Launius, Wendall Launius and James Launius.  She is also survived by her son, Jimmy P. Thrash and wife Vida of San Antonio, Texas; her daughter, Ruth Wince and husband Bill of Hot Springs; and by her special friend and daughter, Marilyn Holloway of Hot Springs.
Dorothy's family also included her stepchildren, the late Jerri Depew, Vermeda Espinosa and Jimmy Bermingham.
Dorothy was blessed with her grandchildren, Sherri Thrash, Patrick Thrash, Cindy Thrash, Sean Lawrenz, Chris Lawrenz, Ashley Wince, Erika Wince and Jamie Wince; her great-grandchildren, Christian Lawrenz, John Ryan Lawrenz, Breckin Lawrenz, Sam Swimmer, David Parkhill, Bethany Parkhill, Cassidy Thrash and Marissa Thrash; and one great-great-grandchild, D.C. Parkhill.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 28, at Ashby Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today, June 27, at the funeral home..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Dierksen Hospice at 3648 Hwy. 7, Suite E, Hot Springs Village, AR  71909.
