Early voting begins Tuesday in 3-race county runoff election

Voters are reminded that early voting in the Saline County Republican Primary runoff election will get under way Tuesday, June 3.

Four early voting sites will be open for the week-long period that precedes the June 10 election.

Those sites are:
•Vote Here building across the street from the Saline County Courthouse.
•Grace Church on Arkansas 5 in Bryant (formerly Pentecostal Church).
•Summit Bank in Hot springs Village.
•East End Fire Department in the East End community.
Hours for early voting in Benton are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. June 3 through June 9.
At the other sites, the hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, through Friday, June 6.
The runoff election will include three ballot issues:
•The race for Saline County sheriff between Simon Haynes and Rodney Wright, the top vote-getters in the Republican primary.
•The race for Saline County assessor between Gary Ballard and Bob Ramsey, the top vote-getters votes in the Republican primary.
•The state attorney general race between Leslie Rutledge and David Sterling.

On Election Day, June 10, all voting must be conducted at the individual polling sites. Polls will open at 7:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m.
