Edward Ellsworth Allbritton, 70, of Benton went to be with his Lord on Jan. 13, 2014.
He was born April 14, 1943, in Little Rock and grew up in Magnet Grove. He was the former owner of Ed and Kayâ€™s Restaurant in Benton, and for the past 10 years had worked as a long-haul truck driver. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed talking to people. He never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Nealie Williams Allbritton; two brothers, William Allbritton and Fred Allbritton.
He is survived by a stepson, Loran Barnes of Hot Springs Village; three sisters, Marion Allbritton of North Little Rock; Marjorie Hammon of Salem and Peggy Sparks of Benton;Â and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at Magnet Cove Cemetery.Â
Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m.Thursday, Jan 18, at Ashby Funeral Home.
