Edwin E. Zoch

Edwin E. Zoch, 85, of Bryant died Monday, Aug. 26, 2013. 
He was born July 29, 1928, in Springfield, Ill., to the late Ernest Earl and Mary Murdaugh Zoch. He moved to Bryant at a young age and spent most of his life there.
His early days of radio took him to Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi before settling back at Bryant in the 1960s.  He retired from radio after 45 years, having spent the last 20 years as operations manager at KUAR/KLRE.
Mr. Zoch served as an alderman for the city of Bryant.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Erlene Zoch, in 2007.
He is survived by his two sons, Stuart Zoch of Bryant and Steven Zoch of North Little Rock.
A celebration of his life will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander with the Rev. George Murdaugh officiating. A private family viewing will be held.
