Elmus Barnard

Elmus Barnard, 88, of the Sardis Community died Wednesday, April 25.  She was born September 24, 1923 in Cato, to the late Gerald R. and Alice Hackler Harrell.  Mrs. Barnard was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. 
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Milton Barnard, and three siblings, Lucille Boyd, Vivnell Turner, and Roland Harrell. 
She is survived by three sons, Marvin Barnard, Arthur Barnard, and Denver Barnard; one sister, Ola Spears; one brother, Woodrow Harrell; six grandchildren, Sheila McNeil, Jarrod and Darrod Barnard, Adam and Sean Barnard, and Colorado Barnard, and 14 great-grandchildren. 
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 28, in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Porter officiating.  Interment will follow in McPherson Cemetery in the Sardis Community.  
Visitation will be held from 6 - 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 27 at the funeral home.  
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 24310 N. Sardis Road, Bauxite, AR 72011.
