Eloise “MeMa” Kirkwood

Eloise “MeMa” Kirkwood, 81, of Bryant passed away Thursday, September 27, at UAMS.  She was born on February 9, 1931 in Tuscumbia, Ala. to the late W.B.  and Mattie Staggs Scott.   She retired from Dillards after working for 35 years. 
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by one grandson, Justin Darter.
She is survived by her daughters, Vickie Darter (David) and Charlene Williams (Bob) all of Bryant; one brother, Jerry Scott (Sharon) of Sarasota, FL; one sister, Faye Hester (Cecil) of Tuscumbia, AL; three grandchildren, Robert Williams (Tiffany), Josh Williams (Emily), and Sarah Darter (Wes), and eight great grandchildren, Zachary Darter,  Carys and Keeran Williams, Macy and Micah Uresti, Caroline Williams, and Cora and Bailey Jones. She will also be greatly missed by numerous friends and one special friend, Ann Darter.
Cremation arrangements are by Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047).
A time of family visitation will be 2 - 4 p.m. Sunday, September 30 at the funeral home.
