EmilyRose Elizabeth Lyons

July 16, 2013

On July 4, 2013, EmilyRose Elizabeth Lyons (Emily or Emmie) of Benton was called to heaven at the all too young age of 6 years old.
She was born Jan. 10, 2007. Six years just wasn’t enough time for Emily to share with others all of the love she had within her precious heart. There will never be a day that goes by that we will not think about Emily and all of the joy and love she had within her precious little heart and how much we truly loved this wonderful, precious little girl. Emily truly enjoyed school, learning new things, playing with her brothers, and playing like she was a little “mama” to Sam. She truly touched the hearts of everyone who knew her.
In our mind, we will always remember her as an awesome blessing and gift directly from the hand of God. She was and is an inspiration to each of us.
Emily was survived by her parents, Elizabeth (Liz) and John Lyons; brothers, John Lyons Jr. and Sam Lyons; her maternal grandparents, Steve and Sheila Pauley; her maternal uncles, Clifford (Cliff) Pauley, all of Benton and Jason Pauley of Vir.
She is also survived by her paternal grandparents, Larry and Helena Lyons of Heber Springs; her paternal aunt, Brandy Lyons of Heber Springs; and her paternal aunt, Alisha Lyons of Pekin, Ill. In addition, she is also survived by her paternal grandparents, Joe and Teresa Hudson; and her paternal uncle, Tyler Hudson, all of Fayetteville.
A celebration of EmilyRose’s life will begin at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, with memories of Emily, in the sanctuary of Salem Baptist Church, 3069 Salem Road in Benton, followed by the 6 p.m. service for the celebration.
A potluck fellowship will follow in the fellowship hall of Salem Baptist Church. All are welcome and are asked to bring something to share.
Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Arkansas Funeral Care.
Family comments: If you would like to do something for Emily, please live your life to its fullest potential; be generous, loving, forgiving, and compassionate with everyone you meet; especially your family. Emily, we truly love you with all of our heart and you will never be forgotten. Your memories will live within our hearts forever … until we meet again, hugs and kisses from each of us.
