Eva Ellen Blake Keene, 77, of Benton passed away Nov. 3, 2013, in Little Rock. She was born May 1, 1936 in Saline County.
Eva was a retired LPN from Saline Memorial Hospital and a member of Grape Chapel Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Willie Raney Blake; her husband, Herbert G. Keene; a son, Ronnie N. Arthur; two brothers, Everett D. Blake and James D. Blake; and a sister, Lela Bray.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Mesa of Benton; two stepsons, Charles Keene of Virginia and and Tony Keene of Benton; a son, Larry R. Arthur of Benton; two sisters, Neva H. Sutton and Martha Yates, both of Benton; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at Ashby Funeral Home with Brother Clayton perry and Brother Scott Plank officiating. Burial will be at Kentucky Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Danny Wayne Keene, Ritchie Keene, Dale Yates, Jimmy Lee Yates, Brad Keene and Jonah Lee Ryburn.
Visitation is set from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Grape Chapel Church of God or to the Alzheimer’s Association, 204 Executive Court, Suite 301, Little Rock, AR.
