Evelyn Yvonne Jackson

Evelyn Yvonne Jackson, 47, of Benton, passed away Sunday, September 11 in Bryant.  She was born March 3, 1964, in Benton to J.T. Raper, and the late Elsie Mae Raper.
 
Ms. Jackson worked in the customer service department of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette for 17 years, and was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church in Little Rock.
 
She is survived by her father and step-mother, J.T. and Virgie Raper, of Benton; 2 brothers, Jerry Raper and wife Cora of Benton, Gary Shoptaw, and wife Doris of Glen Rose; 4 sisters, Juanita Davis and husband J.T., of Houston, Texas, Fonda Masters and husband Jack, of Hot Springs, Sharon Langley of Benton, and Gayla Shelnutt and husband Mitchell, also of Benton; a lifetime companion, Brian Rivas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.  
 
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 14, at the Roller-Ballard Funeral Home chapel, with Reverend Kim Hammer officiating.  Burial will follow at Ten-Mile cemetery, located in the Ten-Mile Community.
