Fight leads to 2 arrests; felony, battery charges

A man and woman were charged with felony battery after their neighbor reported they were fighting.

When officers responded to South Third Street, Lea Fletcher, 23, of Benton told them that Richard Isenhower, 34, also of Benton, had become aggressive with her. He allegedly struck her, strangled her and pushed her to the ground, according to the police report.

Fletcher allegedly fought back and Isenhower suffered facial scratches, a bite mark on the inside of his mouth and a bite mark on his left shoulder, according to the report.

Isenhower was charged with domestic battery and aggravated assault. Fletcher was charged with domestic battery, according to the Saline County Sheriff's Office inmate roster.
