Frank Paul Kret Jr., 66, of Benton passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013. He was born Sept. 14, 1946, in Nashville, Tenn.  Mr. Kret was a Vietnam Army veteran and worked as a machinist. He was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. 
Mr. Kret was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Ruby Kret; parents Frank Paul Kret Sr. and Mattie Wilson Kret; mother- and father-in-law Mavis and J.C. Lawson; sister Frances Mack; and a brother, Charles Kret.
He is survived by his daughter, April Kret of Benton; brother George Kret of Cabot; two sisters, Martha Taylor and Diana Briseno, both of Bakersfield, Calif.; and one granddaughter, Keeleigh Hart of Benton.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 6, at Ashby Funeral Home, with burial at Sharon Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Lawson, Tony Lawson, Kevin Vincent, Justin Vincent, Joe Casey and Erik Havniear. Honorary pallbearers will be Corey Hill and Travis Hart.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at Ashby Funeral Home.
