Frankie Mae Calvin

Frankie Mae Calvin, 75, of Benton went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 19. Frankie was born to Joel White Sr and Christine Sanders White in Grady. She retired from ALCOA after working there for more than 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert Calvin Sr.; an infant son, Lawrence Calvin; her stepmother, Alma White; and her sister, Haydena Smith.
Frankie is survived by four sons, Albert Calvin Jr. and wife Lucille of Greenville, Miss., Samuel Calvin and wife Wanda, Dennis Calvin and wife Charlotte and Mike Calvin, all of Benton; three daughters, Alma Stokes, Linda Larkin and Evelyn Reed and husband John, all of Benton; two brothers, Joel White Jr. and Jimmy White Sr. of Benton; six sisters, Zola Standard and Charlene Dawn of Benton, Earlene Dawn and husband William of Dallas, Texas, Betty Bush of Omaha, Neb., Djuanna Chambers and husband Willie of Centerville, Ill., and Sharon Rule of Alorton, Ill.; 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 28 at Elect Temple Church of God in Christ, 307 Johnson St. in Benton.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 27, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1305 S. East St., Benton.
