Franklin “Frank” Filmore Newcomb

Franklin “Frank” Filmore Newcomb, 89, of North Little Rock, formerly of Scott and Bryant, died Sunday, June 12. He was born August 21, 1921, in Bigelow to Cora and William Newcomb.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, sister and wife, Juanita. He is survived by his son, Randall and wife, Cindy of North Little Rock; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister.
He was a World War II veteran and a member of All Souls Church in Scott and Indian Springs Baptist Church in Bryant.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. The funeral service will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with pastor Randy Jumper officiating. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
