After a short battle with leukemia, Gary M Brimer, 64, of Benton went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 6. He was born July 29, 1947, in Little Rock, son of the late Emmagene Brimer and Marshall Brimer
Gary was employed by Arkansas Refrigeration Company, Arkansas Central Mortuary, and had worked at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth in previous years.Â Â He never met a stranger he didn't like, and was an active member of Social Hill Missionary Baptist Church.Â Gary was active in Scout Troop No. 7.
He is survived by the love of his life Brenda Brimer, his wife of 37 years, of Benton; his daughter Christina Brazeale and son-in-law, Jesse Brazeale; and grandson, Jordan Webb of Sparkman, who was his pride and joy; his beloved dog, Dusty; and many friends and family.
Funeral service is scheduled for 2 pm, Friday, March 9, at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home with the Revs. Bill Williams and Muncy Harris officiating Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
Visitation took place Thursday night at the funeral home.
