George Stephen 'Steve' Gillespie

George Stephen "Steve" Gillespie of Benton passed away on Nov. 24, 2013.  He was born in Camden to the late Robert Charles and Evelyn Irene Gillespie.   Steve spent his life making a home for his family.  He treasured the time he spent with his wife, children and grandchildren.  He was retired from FedEx.
 He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of more than 46 years, Marilyn; his children, Lisa Howard and husband Gary, Michelle Prince and Stephanie Manion and husband Joseph; his granchildren Jordan and Brayden Prince, Seth, Ethan and Abigail Manion; his brothers, Jimmy, Paul and Bob Gillespie; his sister, Vicki Newton; and a host of extended family and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 26, at Smackover Cemetery in Smackover.
Griffin Leggett-Forest Hills Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
