Gill Ervin Taylor

Gill Ervin Taylor, 61, of Paron, passed away March 17, 2014.
Gill was born Aug. 9, 1952, in Hot Springs, to the late G.W. “Dub” Taylor and Shirley Williams Taylor. He graduated from Paron High School and spent many years traveling the United States as a truck driver. He worked for Price Pipeline, and for the past several years drove for J and R Trucking in Haskell. When he wasn’t working, Gill spent the majority of his time at his home near Lake Winona in Paron.
Gill was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by a son, Dusty Taylor; two stepsons, Glenn Tyson and wife Sunshine and Trampas Tyson; and his children’s mother, Barbara Taylor, all of Benton; four grandchildren, Dalton Davis, Dailee Taylor and Megan Tyson, all of Benton, and Kincade Richards of Oklahoma; his brothers, Carl Taylor of Paron and Sandy Taylor and wife Laurie of Dover; his sister, Portia Orme and husband Larry of Morningview, Ky.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him dearly.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, at Bolin Cemetery in Paron.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 21, at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton.
