Glow Run to benefit CASA

June 4, 2014

Participants are encouraged to gather their running shoes and neon clothing for a special running event.

This is the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for children of Saline County, which is set to host the 2014 CASA Glow Run this Friday, June 6.

The event will be held at the Boys & Girls Club Recreation Field with early registration and T-shirt pick up beginning at 7:30 p.m. and the run following at 8:30 p.m. All registration bags will include a glow-in-the-dark Glow Run T-shirt and complimentary glow accessories.

Additional accessories will be available for sale. Participants are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite glow attire.

The Glow Run is a 2-mile fun run that starts and finishes at the Boys & Girls Club recreation field. After the race there will be kid-oriented activities on the field as well as hot dogs provided by First Security's Teal Grill.
All proceeds from the event will go to CASA to provide a voice for abused and neglected children through trained volunteer advocates. For more information about the event or to register, visit casaglowrun.wix.com/glowrun.
